August has been HOT! Not just weather wise, but for the virtual assistance industry. The VA Networking Forum was mentioned in an article published on Associated Content (way to go Tawnya) and UK Virtual Assistant, Caroline Melville, was featured in Executive PA Magazine. Additionally Diana Ennen and Kimberly Kenny released Publicity-VA. The industry is getting noticed more and more everyday. Can you not wait for the day when you overhear two people talking and they say "who's your VA?" In July we redesigned the VA Training website and added an improved student section that is getting rave reviews. Our search engine placement is awesome, but with that comes a waiting list for VA Training. If you are on the waiting list, please be patient. We will be contacting you again after the current session is completed. Please remember that we are unable to accept everyone into this program. The best fit with us and our coaching style is vision...and without it your business will perish. However in the next 30 days we will be offering you an alternative which you can use IMMEDIATELY to jumpstart your business. The current session of VA Training, which includes 7 awesome VAs, will be ending during the week of August 22nd. During the month of September Dale and I will introduce the VAs and their practices to you. I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions or comments, please drop me an email. Becki ;)
Branding Your VA Practice Branding is making a business identity that is cohesive with what a business does, what the business is and who their target market is. To have an effective brand, market research should be done to get the best possible picture of a business's target market. To get an effective brand some minimum vital characteristics need to be identified;
The purpose of branding is identity recognition. The heavy hitters in business spend millions to create a brand. Unifying all of their marketing materials, paperwork, packaging, uniforms, apparel, advertisements, etc. helps to create an identity. When companies like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nike, Campbell's, McDonalds, Microsoft, Home Depot, etc. are mentioned most people think of that company's brand (i.e. Nike Swish, Golden Arches, etc.). Most small to medium sized businesses do not have this kind of available capital to create a brand that is comparable to the heavy hitters. But that does not mean that brand identity is not important or that it should cost the next five years of business profits to achieve a recognizable brand. © Dale Noles and Virtual Accuracy 2005, All Rights Reserved About the
