We purchased new computers about 2 months ago. We had two requirements…we wanted one desktop and one laptop and they HAD to have Windows XP. When we went on our hunt we were shocked and saddened that the only thing available to us was the horrid Vista operating system. Our quick search turned into a search that last about 2 weeks. We traveled from PA to MD to attend a computer trade show. Here we found our dream systems and no one looked at us like we were nuts when we asked for Windows XP. They had disks a plenty.

Most everyone we know who operates Vista has issues and big ones at that. So I wasn’t too surprised this morning to read this “Microsoft Backpedals, Allows XP “Downgrades” From Vista”.
